Description

Prepared from mouse lung by pepsin-acid extraction, salt precipitation, re-solubilization in acetic acid and re-precipitation by dialysis against neutral phosphate buffer. The collagen is re-solubilized and lyophilized. Salt-free.

Electrophoresis in 5% SDS polyacrylamide indicates high purity with typical migration of gamma, beta(2), alpha ₁ and alpha ₂ bands.
